Meet your Hineni Gathering Ministry Team

Here I am. Nicole Peters serves Hineni as Treasurer and Outreach Coordinator and is also on staff with Life in the Trinity Ministry. A former Army nurse and ongoing student of the Enneagram, Nicole brings a deep desire for spiritual formation, wholeness, and authentic connection to her ministry. Contemplative prayer has transformed her relationship with God, drawing her into a deeper awareness of His presence and the sacred connection we share with one another. She is passionate about creating spaces where others can experience that same invitation into presence, belonging, and a deeper life with God.

 

Here I am. Jessica Kelly is the Director of Hineni, a spiritual director, certified Enneagram teacher, and contemplative writer with more than 30 years of experience in leading Bible Study and Spiritual Formation. She is passionate about creating sacred spaces where people can slow down, become present to God, and experience the transforming work of contemplative prayer. Through retreats, pilgrimage, writing, and spiritual practices, Jessica invites others to live loved and love from there. She lives in Fort Worth, Texas.

 

 

Here I am. Debbie Brown serves as Board Chair of Hineni, helping guide the ministry’s vision, discernment, and Enneagram integration. A contemplative Christian spiritual director, she incorporates the Enneagram as a tool for spiritual formation, inviting people into greater self-understanding, freedom, and transformation. Debbie also helps shape Hineni’s retreat experiences and leads its ministry of hospitality. Her heart is to create compassionate, reflective spaces where people can slow down, listen deeply, and discover how God is at work within their lives. She lives in Shady Shores, Texas.

 

 

Here I am. Teri Clayton serves Hineni as Secretary and Coordinator of Leadership Development, Shepherding, and Communications. Through her leadership in spiritual formation at White’s Chapel, Teri has developed a heart for soul tending, walking alongside others as they deepen their relationship with God and grow into the people they are created to be. Her ongoing study of the Enneagram has become an important part of her own formation, inviting greater self-awareness, surrender, and compassion for others. She lives in Argyle, Texas.

 

 

Here I am. Cathy Cates serves Hineni in Leadership Formation. Her love for God and Scripture has shaped more than 40 years of spiritual formation, including 29 years in Bible Study Fellowship leadership. Over the past nine years, contemplative prayer has deepened her relationship with God, transforming “Be still, and know that I am God” (Ps 46:10) from a beloved Scripture into a way of life. Cathy brings this depth of experience to mentoring and encouraging to the Hineni. She lives in Krum, Texas.

 

 Here I am. Michelle Crane. I serve Hineni on Hospitality. My quite time with Jesus is my favorite part of my day just learning and Him quenching every ounce of my being.  I love live music, good food, dogs, fashion and to laugh until I pee my pants. I'm a 2 on the Enneagram, helpful, altruistic and sometimes possessive but I love to the core. 

Here I am, Karla from New Jersey. Always on the move, I love running, swimming and long walks with deep conversations. I learned the contemplative life from my dad and continue to seek new ways of being in this world with God. In this season of life my favorite contemplative practices include yoga, and painting to help me appreciate all the beauty in this world. I allow God to show me the sacredness of it all with Him by my side.

 

 

Here I am. I’m Cindy Whitmore a prayer warrior for Hineni ministry. I am a contemplative in progress, loving the Hineni journey, the path of realization of what I’ve already become in Him, to discover my True Self. I’m an Enneagram 3 whose soul desires to rest in the truth that I am loved for who I am rather than what I do. God has most recently called me to work with children identified with Dyslexia, a treasured joy. I love cats (especially tuxedo males), a close circle of trust, reading books and Audibles. 

 

 

Here I am. I’m Shannon Moran. Staying strong for others is important to me in my work for FEMA but I have a soft side as I truly care about the burdens of people. I strive to inspire others to rise up and have their voices heard. The greatest gift I have received is the display of unwarranted kindness & love-GRACE- given from God both directly from Him and through others. I remain forever grateful for this gift.

 

 

Here I am. Shawna finds joy in worship through prayer, Scripture, and leading others in song. Once hesitant to worship publicly, she has grown into a wholehearted expression of gratitude and devotion to Christ. She is pursuing spiritual direction training through The Sabbath Life in Tulsa, Oklahoma, deepening her practice of contemplative prayer and attentiveness to God’s presence and goodness.
